Femur Fx cont.

Canine Femur Fracture Repair

We are fans of pain management. Thus, we do epidurals on most of our orthopedics.

I don't think this picture needs any explanation.

Canine Cystotomy

I am posting again. Because there are a fair number of cool surgeries that we do and so pictures should be taken. My photography skills have not improved in the least over the past few years of non-posting and neither has my taste in what photos to display. Thus, enjoy the blood and guts and dark shadows. I will, however, play around with the layout of the blog because I'm tired of looking at the layout I currently have.
Below we have a canine cystotomy- done on a min poodle with about 9 stones in her bladder. We removed three, the rest were working their way out naturally.

That is the bladder....we're flushing it out to make sure there are no stones left.

See the three little stones?

I realize these are rather boring pictures. But now you know what the bladder of a min poodle looks like -something I'm sure you've always wanted to know. And now you know what bladder stones look like.
