Home Blog

In order to avoid mixing pictures of blood and guts with pictures of my home, I have a 'home blog' now. www.home-etc.blogspot.com
The main purpose of it is to keep mom and dad updated on the progress of my new house.

Attempting to help a feline abscess heal

Removing the skin that isn't adhering to the body.

All the pus, etc underneath that needed cleaned out.
All closed up with drains in place.
This originally was a typical abscess on a cat. However, a week later it still wasn't healing up and the cat was doing very poorly. In an effort to save the cat's life, we removed the skin that wasn't sticking to the body wall, cleaned everything underneath up, and closed the area up. Hopefully the cat will make it.

Kristina, however, has no sympathy for Rachel's concerns. This shade is fine, she says. Stop complaining.

And please stop taking pictures of me making faces at you.

My parking lot

This is the parking lot I normally park in...however, due to the snow we had awhile ago, that wasn't an option for some time.Posted by Picasa

Beautiful Earrings

We all decided to go to get our upper ears pierced! A cartilage piercing I think it's called? Anyhow, I love mine. : )

Unique looking eye

The eye on a GSD. I don't remember what had happened.

Interesting surgery

This cat had a huge mass on its stomach. When it was cut into, pus poured out. After fixing that abscess, the Dr. proceded further to see what could be found. A bullet was removed as was the spleen.
